Recently, my friend loss both parents- within a span of less than a week from each other. Both parents passed away from cancer. No one saw it coming and it was a shock. This remind me of a personal tragedy that I have experienced about 12 years ago. To me, it was so tragic that [...]
Last year, I quit the gym after convincing myself that I don’t like the noise level, the sweat smell, sticky machine handles (from the previous sweat soaked hand), the rap music and cramped classes. And I saw no point of paying for the high gym membership and then forcing myself to go there to workout amidst [...]
Recently, I sat down and calculated my monthly commitments and finances. And I made the decision that the gym membership had to go. Every month, to pay the amount and hardly visiting the gym (because I have been either too busy or tired- yep I know, the usual excuses :) )- makes it impractical to [...]
Just yesterday, my uncle shared with me about the constant back pain that he was experiencing for decades. It started decades ago while he was loading a huge basket of fruits up in a lorry. Suddenly he heard a twisting sound followed by such an intense pain that he could not straighten his back. That [...]

I feel it is important to mention this subject since I am been seeing an increasing number of families who are crushed financially and emotionally when the sole breadwinner is suddenly unable to work to bring food to the table. Or a family member gets diagnosed with a terminal illness and the family could not [...]
Here are the SIGNS OF STROKE as per American Heart Institute. Please heed these warnings signs. I want to share with you on what happened to my favourite auntie (my mom’s 5th sister) as a lesson not to delay in obtaining medical treatment. She had been feeling “out of sorts” and uncomfortable. A part of [...]
This morning, I decided to squeeze in a workout before going to work. It lasted about 40 min. First, I selected my favorite songs from the list of my MTVs that I’ve compiled from YouTube. I played them in my exercise program: Track 1 : Do light jogs, jumping jacks and jog with raised knees [...]
Do not judge a fat person or compulsive hoarder. At least they wear their inner traumas outwardly. Overeating and hoarding are their coping mechanism. Once their inner issues have been addressed, the physical transformation would be amazing.
Compared to psychopaths, narcissists and manipulators whose ways of coping with trauma and emotions are not obvious and cast in stone. They drive misery to others, but ultimately causing destruction and perceptual unhappiness to themselves.
