In a previous post titled “Hot Water Bottle for Cold Limbs“, I have written about the benefits of the hot water in glass to cure muscle aches or pain and numbness that are associated with the cold weather or arthritis.
Now, do you suffer from occasional numbness on your hands or palms? If you feel the numbness is not normal and constantly reoccurring, you can try to roll over the hot water bottle (please wrap using a cloth and ensure the bottle is air tight- refer precautions in the previous post).
Previously, I had suffered from a little numbness on the right side of my hands- sometimes at the elbow or the hands. Not to mention that I used to experience occasional breast pain that does not occur during menstruation. I have done a medical checkup that had ruled out any growth or tumor at the breasts. According to my healer friend, it is due to ‘wind’ being trapped at the vein located at the side of the breast and the armpits. She felt for a vein, located it and gave it a hard press (like in acupressure)- I gave a yelp due to the sharp pain- that indicated she had hit the right area.
This is to say that sometimes, if we experience numbness in our hands, or arms, the cause could be due to another area. You may try to roll the hot water bottle in the area or use the cane exercise . Who knows, repeated times of doing it may just relieve the condition.
However, aside from the precautions posted in previous articles, please take note of these as well:
- numbness on the arms and hands also indicates early signs of stroke or possible CAD. Always get a checkup done.
- get advise by doctors if in doubt- especially pertaining the cane exercise.
Fantastic work. You have gained a new reader. I hope you keep up the good work and I look forward to more of your interesting posts.
