Caution: This article is based on my personal experience and I am not advocating that you do the same. There are potential pitfalls of course, especially if the person has urinary track infection.
When I was 5 years old, I recalled my grandaunt asking me one afternoon….”can I rinse your eyes again with your brother’s urine. It would give you a good eyesight?”. I shouted at her NO and went ballistic so she did not dare to do it.
Some of the ancient Chinese customs that I have heard is by rinsing your eyes with the urine of a boy (who is still a virgin) in order to have a good eyesight.
My grandaunt was 82 years old and I was born and she took care of me while my parents went to work. I was told that I was very hyperactive when I was young and running around very often. When my younger brother came along, he had to be sent to a babysitter as my grandaunt is not able to look after a young child and a toddler.
I was quite sure that she has in fact done it before I was 5 years old and too young to remember. Even my graudaunt, who lived to be 91 years old, had the perfect eye sight. Her eyes were observant and sharp and she could thread a needle without any problem.
And it is true, she gave me a gift of good eyesight, lasting for many years. I grew up reading a lot of books and eventually got involved in a career where I stared at computer screens for about 8 hours a day (if you do not count the additional hours surfing net or watching TV at home). Basically, I strain my eyes a lot and could get away without requiring spectacles until I was much older.
When I first started to come out to work, I did develop mild astigmatism about power 50 on my right eye. But after about few years when I checked my eye again, I was told my vision was perfect 20/20 and I do not require any spectacles.
At times, given the hours I spent in front of the PC screen and the TV, I am grateful that my eyesight is still okay. I often wondered… it is a coincidence or does this ancient remedy really works? This is something that has been passed down from older generations long before the conventional medicine is born.
Urine is actually considered to have medicinal value in some culture. There is also another site that spoke about how effective urine is with curing eye infection. The post got a number of comments, some who agreed but many who condemned this method. There are also a number of YouTube videos that advocates this.
Do note that some hermits actually use pickled urine (meaning aged urine) as medicine when they are practicing in caves and forests away from civilization.
If you are too afraid to try this, perhaps you can also consider walking barefoot on the bare earth to help improve your eye sight. This is shared to me first hand by a 81 year old man who benefited from this simple practice.
